Privacy & your data
Last updated: July 2026
The short version: We don't make you create an account, we don't sell your data, and we don't keep your contract after we've reviewed it. The instant clause scan happens in your browser. The AI deep review sends your text to our AI provider to write the memo, and it isn't stored afterwards.
What happens to your contract
There are two ways the tool works, and they're different:
- The instant scan (35 checks + state notes): this runs entirely in your web browser. Your contract text is not sent to us for this part.
- The AI deep review: when you click "AI deep review", your contract text is sent securely to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate the memo, then returned to you. We do not store your contract, and we don't use it to train anything.
What we collect
- No account, no personal profile. You don't sign up, so we don't collect your name, email, or contact details unless you choose to email us.
- Basic technical data. Like any website, our host (Vercel) processes standard request information (such as IP address) to serve the site and protect it from abuse. We use this only to keep the service running and secure.
- No advertising trackers, and we don't sell data.
Third parties
Two providers help run the service: Vercel (hosting) and Anthropic (the AI that writes the deep review). Your contract text is processed by Anthropic only to produce your review. We encourage you to review their respective privacy terms.
Your choices
Don't want anything leaving your browser at all? Use the instant scan and skip the AI deep review — the scan is fully local. And of course, don't paste anything you're not comfortable submitting.
